Paola Minussi Secular celebrant

What remains after the “I Do” (besides the pictures)

To all the couples who chose me as their humanist celebrant: thank you.

Thank you for letting me into your story with tenderness, for sharing your memories, emotions, milestones — and even a few slightly embarrassing moments (don’t worry, I told them with elegance and just the right amount of irony!).
Thank you for trusting me with your most precious words: your vows.
Thank you for not calling me at 6 AM on your wedding day to check if the folder and ribbon matched your color palette. (They did! Perfectly.)
Thank you for caring about your guests and your suppliers — with a kind word, a bottle of water handed out in the summer heat, or a knowing smile before the big “I do.”
Thank you for not acting like divas with Hollywood-level requests like changing the wind, moving the clouds, or adjusting the humidity.
And a special thanks to those who chose calm and organized wedding planners.
(Yes, believe it or not, not all of them are hysterical control freaks… oops!)
Thank you to those who made sure I caught my flight on time, by arranging a fast, safe and kind-hearted driver.
And thank you — yes, even to those who made me miss a train… because the bride’s father insisted on giving me the full tour of the area, blissfully ignoring the time.

You make this work a true adventure, full of humanity, surprise, and a healthy dose of (self-)irony.

It’s an honor to celebrate stories like yours.

I work with words and emotions.

And as I now dedicate most of my time to my writing projects, I’ll be taking on fewer ceremonies.
But I’ll still be there for those couples who want something real, heartfelt and entirely their own.
I won’t be the filler between welcome drinks and the photoshoot.
I’ll be there for those who want a ceremony that truly tells their love story — with sincerity, tenderness, and soul.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for,
get in touch.
I’m here for you.

With love and gratitude,
Paola
